I first started out in photography as my mother's favorite subject. I would watch her work in the darkroom, and she would keep me from drinking the chemicals. At the age of ten I wrecked my father's Nikon F2 trying to figure out how it worked. To keep me from breaking his good gear, he let me use his other camera, a Nikon FM. I studied photography in college, and have been shooting a variety of subjects for more than 20 years. I shoot for the joy and for the challenge of creating dramatic and lasting images that you will remember for a lifetime. I prefer projects that are unique, creative and challenging.
